2009

Starlight Beds was founded in 2009. Operating out of a small unit, we saw a need for better quality contract mattresses. We quickly grew from a small range of contract mattresses to a large catalogue of beds and mattresses.

2014

In 2014, Starlight Beds merged as a part of The Sleep People. We identified a gap in the online market for affordable, quality, rolled and boxed mattress that we could fill. Moving to a new factory meant we had capacity to expand our range even further and offer customers a greater selection of affordable mattresses.

2018

Our online presence continues to expand including becoming the number one mattress for sale on Amazon.co.uk. The successes on Amazon have continued with the majority of our Mattresses appearing in the Top 20 Most Popular.

2021

The Starlight range of Mattresses are launched. Beginning with the Starlight 1-5, it is a range to suit all needs. As all customers have different needs and budgets, the range allows a choice for everyone.
